I used to read a lot of cyberpunk, gibson and a lot of pulp fiction, bladerunner is probably still my favorite movie. that interest recently led to steampunk. I've always liked early machines and gears, and the more i saw of steampunk, the more excited i got. Its just a shame that it doesnt extend further than obscure fashion and computer mods.<BR/><BR/>think about it, steampunk music, steamcore or something. aggressive folk punk with elements of classical, ragtime, and i guess a touch of industrial clockwork droning in the background is in order. The first violin solo since Joker in the Pack by the Adicts. vocals through a megaphone. distorted theremin.<BR/><BR/>and melding of traditional punk fashion with steampunk aesthetic. I think it goes without saying you'd see a lot more bowlers.<BR/><BR/>and yoshitaka amano is my favorite artist, so i gotta give you props on that.
